Kontiki Reisen is the leading northern specialist in Switzerland and enables unforgettable travel experiences through the vastness of Scandinavia, into the contrasts of Iceland, the quiet of Greenland, the wild and romantic highlands of Scotland, into the historic cities in Russia and the Baltic States, as well as into the breathtaking Arctic and Antarctica to the polar bears or penguins.
Kontiki employees are Nordland enthusiasts and discover experiences beyond well-trodden paths on study trips. Tested, experienced and approved, they pass them on to you with the Kontiki tips. Many customers also contribute their personal tips. 1500 tips in all destinations are waiting to be discovered by you.
With your Kontiki travel documents, you will receive a free login to the Kontiki tip app. You can choose from the entire tip treasure trove of your destination country and discover tips along your travel route. The app lets you easily filter your desired experience: demanding hikes, lonely viewpoints, child-friendly parks, authentic evening entertainment and lots more.
And even if you are not yet a Kontiki customer: Discover Nordic places in Switzerland with the app without login. Whether Swedish moose, Russian birch sap or Danish design - you will find it here.
Here is a small guide for your first steps in the app
• I am not a Kontiki customer yet, can I still see tips?
Yes, you can discover Nordic tips in Switzerland without logging in. Just click on "browse without login".
• I am a Kontiki customer, where can I find the experience code?
You will receive the experience code with your travel documents. You can find him on the
first page of your travel program.
• How can I see the app in French?
In the menu bar, select the small wheel for "Settings" and then "Language setting".
• How do I see where a tip is?
Click the map icon in the top left.
• How do I see the tips closest to me?
Click on "around me" in the map view at the bottom right
• How can I filter tips?
Click the funnel icon in the top right.
• I want to filter a book / film / recipe / or an app or music, why am I not seeing these topics in the filter?
These topics are only visible in the filter of the list view and not in the filter of the map view. Switch to the list view and then click on the filter icon.
• Yikes, it looks like rain! What should I do today?
Click on "Indoor" in the filter and stay dry.
• What would my 11-year-old daughter be particularly happy about?
Click on the age of your children in the "Family-friendly" filter and discover particularly family-friendly tips.
• How can I experience particularly sustainable and authentic tips?
Click on "Authentic" in the filter and see the tips that have been awarded our sustainability criteria.
• Why do I see (almost) no tips?
Check whether a filter is active (filter symbol is yellow) and adjust the filter criteria or reset the filter.
• How can I find my favorite tips again quickly?
Click on the little heart on the right in the tip or in the tip preview. The tip is now saved under Favorites. To see your favorites, click on the heart in the menu bar.
